Green foxtail

Yasuko Abe embroidery work: Green foxtail in Autumn
The name of this wild flower in Japanese, which is commonly called ``Neko-jarashi''(cat-toy), is Enokoroguza ``Kuogusa''. In fact, at first, the swaying of its flower spikes looked like a dog wagging its tail, so it seems that the name ``Inukkoro-kusa''(puppy-weed) was changed to ``Enochorokusa.''

Yasuko Abe embroidery work: Green foxtail in Winter
Spring, gently emerges from bright green bed, wrapped in soft downy hair.
Summer, taking off green cloak, stretch neck as much as possible, and play coolly in the breeze.
Eventually, small flowers will bloom one by one among the green spikes.
Autumn, enduring the blazing sun, sometimes being drenched in the rain, standing in the wind, and receiving red robes from heaven.
Winter, the flowers have shed their flower spikes all at once in winter, and their red robes are exposed to the wind and rain, but even so, their backs are straight and the sun shines through, making them look a little lonely. The foxtail grass that lives casually everywhere, and sweet in all seasons.
